PM Modi Launches Skill Development Schemes and PM MITRA Park in Maharashtra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the National PM Vishwakarma Program in Wardha, where he unveiled two significant initiatives aimed at empowering artisans and promoting entrepreneurship among women. The newly launched ‘Acharya Chanakya Skill Development’ scheme and the ‘Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme’ are designed to enhance skill development and support women-led startups.

During his speech, PM Modi celebrated the completion of one year of the PM Vishwakarma initiative, which focuses on uplifting artisans through skill enhancement and providing them with the tools needed for economic growth. He emphasized that these programs are vital for fostering creativity and innovation among India’s skilled workforce.

Additionally, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the PM MITRA Park in Amravati, which aims to revitalize India’s textile industry. PM Modi highlighted the park’s potential to create a robust ecosystem for textile production, thereby generating employment and boosting local economies.
