Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a Sneh Milan (Friendship Meeting) programme hosted by Union Minister C.R. Patil at his residence in New Delhi on Wednesday evening. The event, which brought together key figures of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was an opportunity for informal interactions and bonding among party leaders.
Alongside PM Modi, other prominent BJP leaders who attended the gathering included Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President J.P. Nadda, Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Several Gujarat BJP MLAs and leaders also flew into the national capital to participate in the event, reflecting the strong presence of Gujarat’s BJP leadership at the national level.
During the event, Prime Minister Modi took a stroll through the gathering, engaging in conversations with guests and party leaders. In a moment of camaraderie, he also posed for a group photo with all the attendees, further strengthening the party’s unity and rapport.
C.R. Patil, who holds the portfolio of Jal Shakti in the Union Cabinet, is also the BJP’s Gujarat Chief. His role in hosting the event underscored his significant influence within the party, both in Gujarat and at the national stage. The programme served as an informal space for the leaders to discuss party matters, share ideas, and build stronger relationships within the BJP.
The Sneh Milan event, while not focused on official party business, was a symbolic gathering aimed at fostering unity and mutual support among BJP leaders. The relaxed nature of the event highlighted the party’s emphasis on maintaining strong internal ties as they continue to face political challenges across the country.
