PM Modi Applauds Election Commission for Conducting the Largest Election in the World

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent address to the BJP Karyakartas at the BJP headquarters, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Election Commission of India. He praised the commission for its successful conduct of what he referred to as the “world’s largest election.”

The Prime Minister highlighted the scale and complexity of the election, stating, “All staff did a commendable job in such hot weather with about 100 crore voters, 11 lakh polling stations, one crore polling personnel, and 55 lakh voting machines.” He also expressed his appreciation for the security personnel for their unwavering dedication and sense of duty during the election process.

PM Modi emphasized the pride that every Indian feels for the country’s election process, its system, and its credibility. He stated, “Every Indian is proud of India’s election process, this entire system of elections, and the credibility of the election process.”

He further added that there is no evidence in the world of elections on this scale, elections with this efficiency. “We should proudly propagate it all over the world,” he said.
