Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra Criticizes Price Hike and Siddaramaiah Government’s Budget

Bengaluru, Karnataka – Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra lashed out at the state’s ruling Congress government for what he described as the rising prices that have become a major burden on the common man. Vijayendra stated, “Price rise is the only guarantee that the common man has got from the ruling Congress government in the state. The common man is affected and fed up with this price hike.”

He accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s government of failing to meet the needs of the state’s various communities, particularly the Hindu community. “The Siddaramaiah government, which pronounced the budget, hasn’t given a separate budget to the Muslim community, but they have given everything. Siddaramaiah, in the name of Ahinda, says everything but ignores all the Hindu communities,” Vijayendra said, claiming that the government has left out important sections of society in its budget allocations.

Vijayendra also criticized the government for neglecting the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities, accusing them of injustice. He said, “Siddaramaiah has done injustice to the SC and ST communities,” further fueling his claims of biased policymaking.

In response to the price hike and government inaction, Vijayendra announced a series of protests. “On the 2nd of April, the BJP will stage a protest in the state against the price hike. On the 5th of April, in all district and Taluq offices, the BJP will stage a protest. On the 7th of April, we will take out a ‘Jan Akrosh Yatra’ from Mysore. All the leaders of the party will participate in this yatra,” he stated, laying out the party’s strategy to mobilize public support and hold the government accountable.

Vijayendra’s statements reflect the BJP’s growing opposition to the Congress-led government, with the party positioning itself as a voice for the common man amidst rising costs and claims of governmental neglect.
