BJP leader CT Ravi has demanded that the Suhas Shetty murder case be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), calling it a pre-planned act and a serious failure of the state government. Speaking in Bengaluru, Ravi expressed deep concerns over the investigation and said the BJP does not trust the current probe being conducted by the state authorities.
“This is a pre-planned murder. The case should be handed over to the NIA,” he said, alleging that the state government has failed to ensure law and order. Ravi criticized the handling of the case so far and questioned the government’s ability to conduct a fair and unbiased investigation.
He further said that justice must be delivered without any delay and only a central agency like the NIA can bring out the full truth. His remarks come amid growing political pressure and public demand for a transparent inquiry into the case.
The murder of Suhas Shetty has triggered protests and calls for accountability from various political and community groups, with many pointing fingers at the state government’s handling of security and justice. Ravi’s statement adds to the mounting demand for a central probe into the case.
