BJP’s BY Vijayendra Slams Congress, Urges Unity After Pahalgam Attack

Bengaluru | Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, stating that the primary motive behind such acts is to disrupt the peace and harmony in the country. Addressing the media, Vijayendra emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have taken the incident with utmost seriousness and assured that strict action will be taken against the terrorist groups involved.

He accused the Congress party of failing to eradicate terrorism during its decades-long rule, attributing it to “appeasement politics.” He questioned Congress’s inability to ensure long-term peace in Jammu and Kashmir, despite being in power for over 60 years.

Highlighting the timing and nature of the attack, Vijayendra said that targeting innocent tourists was a deliberate attempt by terror outfits to prevent normalcy from returning to Jammu and Kashmir. He called the central government’s recent decisions only “the beginning” of a larger response and hinted at more decisive steps in the near future.

Calling for national unity, Vijayendra urged all political parties to rise above partisanship during this tragic time and stand together against the threat of terrorism.
