BJP MLC N Ravikumar Accuses Siddaramaiah Government of Corruption, Questions Lokayukta’s Clean Chit

Bengaluru, Karnataka – BJP MLC N Ravikumar has raised serious allegations of corruption against the Siddaramaiah-led government, accusing the chief minister of engaging in illegal land acquisition. Ravikumar alleged that Siddaramaiah, who was once perceived to have a clean image, used his influence to acquire 14 sites in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), and that his wife also followed suit, acquiring 14 sites under similar circumstances.

“Siddaramaiah government has done a lot of corruption in two years. People thought he had a clean image. He acquired 14 sites in MUDA. Influenced by him, his wife also acquired 14 sites,” Ravikumar stated, calling into question the integrity of the government.

The BJP MLC further criticized the decision of the Karnataka Lokayukta, which had given a clean chit to Siddaramaiah, labeling the decision as “not right.” Ravikumar’s comments suggest that he believes the Lokayukta’s findings are flawed and that there may have been political influence in the matter.

This fresh allegation adds to the ongoing political discourse in Karnataka, with the opposition BJP continuing to target the ruling Congress government over corruption issues, even as the ruling party defends its actions.
