BJP Mahila Morcha Stages Protest in Bengaluru Over Derogatory Remarks Against PM Modi and His Late Mother

Bengaluru, Karnataka: The BJP Mahila Morcha on Saturday staged a strong protest in Bengaluru condemning the alleged derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother during a Mahagathbandhan event in Darbhanga, Bihar.

Holding placards and raising slogans, the protesting women leaders and workers demanded an unconditional apology from opposition leaders for what they described as an “insult to Indian culture and motherhood.” They said such remarks not only tarnish the dignity of political discourse but also disrespect the values held dear by millions of Indians.

BJP Mahila Morcha leaders alleged that the INDIA bloc leaders, including Congress and RJD, had crossed all limits of decency and decorum by targeting the Prime Minister’s mother. “This shows their desperation ahead of elections and exposes their mindset against a leader who has dedicated his life to the nation,” a protester said.

The workers further emphasised that political rivalry should be fought on issues and governance rather than personal and family attacks. They asserted that the people of India will give a fitting reply to such behaviour through the ballot box.

Security was stepped up during the protest to maintain order, though the demonstration remained peaceful. The protest in Bengaluru was part of a wider wave of condemnation from BJP leaders across the country who have slammed the opposition for stooping to such levels of political discourse.
