BJP Leader Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan Criticizes Karnataka CM During ‘Mysuru Chalo’ Padayatra

BJP leader Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan has sharply criticized Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during the ongoing ‘Mysuru Chalo’ padayatra, asserting that the public is demanding accountability and resignation from the CM over alleged corruption. Narayan’s statements were made as part of the BJP’s campaign to rally support against the Congress government.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Narayan highlighted the overwhelming response from the public, who he claimed are expressing strong dissatisfaction with the state administration. “We are getting a very good response. People want this corrupt CM to quit. They are demanding accountability for the corruption he has committed in the state,” Narayan said.

The ‘Mysuru Chalo’ padayatra, organized by the BJP, aims to draw attention to perceived corruption within the Karnataka Congress government and to pressure the party to address these issues. Dr. Narayan emphasized that the padayatra is intended to send a message to the Congress party, asserting that they cannot evade scrutiny over corruption.

“If Congress has any respect for the Constitution and democracy, they should compel their Chief Minister to resign,” Narayan added. His comments reflect the BJP’s strategy to use high-profile events and public sentiment to challenge the credibility of the ruling Congress administration.

The criticism comes at a time of heightened political tension in Karnataka, with various allegations of mismanagement and corruption being leveled against the current government. The BJP’s ‘Mysuru Chalo’ padayatra continues to mobilize public support and critique the state administration’s handling of governance issues.

The Congress government has not yet responded in detail to the allegations made during the padayatra. However, Dr. Narayan’s remarks are likely to contribute to the ongoing political discourse and may influence public opinion as the state approaches future elections.
