BJP Leader CT Ravi Demands Resignation of Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah Over Corruption Allegations

Bengaluru, June 23, 2025 — BJP leader CT Ravi has launched a sharp attack on the Congress-led Karnataka government, calling it “deeply corrupt” in light of fresh allegations against a state minister. Speaking to the media, Ravi said, “The government led by Siddaramaiah is corrupt. He should resign due to such allegations.

Though Ravi did not name the minister directly, his remarks come amidst growing scrutiny over reported irregularities within the state cabinet. The BJP has intensified its demand for transparency and accountability, claiming the Congress government has lost the moral authority to govern.

Ravi further accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of failing to act decisively in the face of repeated corruption controversies. “Instead of ordering fair investigations, the CM continues to shield his ministers. This is an insult to the people of Karnataka,” he added.

The Congress party has so far dismissed the allegations as politically motivated, but the BJP insists a full probe is necessary and that Siddaramaiah’s resignation is the first step toward restoring public trust.

With political temperatures rising in the state, this development is expected to shape upcoming assembly sessions and possibly the civic polls.
