BJP leader CT Ravi has launched a pointed critique against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the Congress party, following the Governor’s recent order for prosecution in connection with corruption allegations. Ravi’s comments focus on the ongoing controversy surrounding the MUDA scam and the Congress party’s response to the Governor’s decision.
“There are allegations of corruption against CM Siddaramaiah, particularly related to the MUDA scam, which everyone is aware of,” Ravi stated. He emphasized that the Governor’s order, made in accordance with the Constitution of India, should be respected. “The Governor has given an order according to the Constitution of India. We are here to remind Congress about what they said when they were in opposition.”
Ravi criticized the Congress party for protesting against the Governor’s order, highlighting that the role of the Governor is a constitutional one and should not be undermined. “The position of Governor is a constitutional position. So, protesting against his order is wrong,” Ravi asserted.
His remarks reflect the BJP’s strategy to use the Governor’s decision as a political leverage point against the Congress government. By focusing on the alleged corruption and emphasizing respect for constitutional authorities, Ravi aims to bolster the BJP’s position in the ongoing political discourse.
The controversy surrounding the MUDA scam and the Governor’s order has intensified political debates in Karnataka. As the situation evolves, the BJP’s push for accountability and the Congress party’s response will continue to shape the political landscape in the state.
