BJP Leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy Responds to CM Siddaramaiah’s Statement on Terrorist Attacks

BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, strongly reacted to the statement made by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah regarding the recent terrorist attacks in India. Narayanaswamy expressed his outrage over the killing of 28 civilians by terrorists, questioning whether India should remain silent in the face of such attacks. He emphasized that the central government’s decision on handling these attacks was not subject to state-level interference, and accused Congress leaders of politicizing the issue.

He further criticized the Congress party, suggesting that some of its leaders, in their statements, were implicitly siding with Pakistan, calling for them to openly declare their allegiance. Narayanaswamy’s remarks also humorously implied that some Congress leaders, like Siddaramaiah, might be trying to create a political career in Pakistan, given the increasing irrelevance of Congress both in Karnataka and across India. He concluded by reaffirming the unity of Indians against Congress and expressing readiness for war if the situation escalates. This statement underlined the BJP’s position of strong national defense and its commitment to standing firm against terrorism.
