BJP President Calls for NIA Investigation into Bengaluru Cafe Blast

BENGALURU – In the wake of the recent cafe blast in Bengaluru, Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra has called for the investigation to be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). He also demanded that the Chief Minister take responsibility for the incident and resign immediately.

“The investigation into this case should be handed over to NIA,” said Vijayendra, expressing his concern over the incident. “The CM should take responsibility and immediately resign.”

The blast, which occurred at a popular cafe in Bengaluru, has sparked a political firestorm, with the BJP President’s comments adding fuel to the ongoing debate about security and accountability.

Vijayendra’s demand for the Chief Minister’s resignation indicates a deepening political crisis in the state, with the ruling party under increasing pressure to respond to the incident.

The NIA, as the central counter-terrorism law enforcement agency, is well-equipped to handle investigations of this nature. However, the decision to involve them lies with the state government.

As the situation continues to unfold, the people of Bengaluru, and indeed all of Karnataka, wait anxiously for a resolution. The blast has not only caused physical damage and fear, but it has also opened up a political Pandora’s box that could have far-reaching implications for the state’s leadership.

The Chief Minister’s office has yet to respond to Vijayendra’s comments. As the political drama continues to unfold, the city waits for answers and action in the aftermath of the blast.
