Amid growing speculation over a possible change in leadership within the Karnataka Congress, BJP leader CT Ravi has launched a sharp critique of the ruling party, citing corruption, price rise, and weak administration as key reasons for public dissatisfaction.
Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Ravi said, “People are upset due to the corruption, price rise and weak administration… We don’t know who will become the CM… But to us, only public interest matters.”
His comments come at a time when internal rumblings within the Congress have triggered debates over a possible shift in leadership, with reports suggesting discontent among party MLAs and key allies over governance issues.
CT Ravi emphasized that for the BJP, the focus remains firmly on serving the public and holding the ruling party accountable, regardless of who holds the chief ministerial post. “Our concern is with the issues that affect the common man – misgovernance, inflation, and a lack of transparency,” he added.
The BJP has been steadily increasing pressure on the Congress government, particularly over alleged irregularities in housing schemes and infrastructure development projects.
