BJP State President BY Vijayendra Demands Transparency in Ranya Rao Gold Smuggling Case

BJP Karnataka State President BY Vijayendra has launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led government over the Ranya Rao gold smuggling case, demanding that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reveal the names of ministers allegedly involved in the scandal.

“Daughter of a senior IPS officer has been arrested at Kempegowda International Airport in a gold smuggling case,” Vijayendra stated, raising serious concerns about political and administrative involvement.

He further alleged that certain senior ministers were protecting Ranya Rao, questioning the lack of security checks on her repeated foreign trips. “Some of the senior ministers are supporting Ranya Rao. There was no frisking for that lady who repeatedly visited Dubai and other foreign countries. She was given police security every time she came back to Bengaluru,” he claimed.

With the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) already registering an FIR and launching an investigation, Vijayendra insisted that CM Siddaramaiah must have prior knowledge of the case. “I am sure that CM Siddaramaiah must have also had the information. My demand is that CM Siddaramaiah disclose the name of the ministers who are involved in this case,” he asserted.

As the investigation unfolds, political tensions in Karnataka continue to rise, with the BJP aggressively pushing for accountability. Whether the government will respond to these allegations remains to be seen, but the controversy has already sparked a heated political battle in the state.
