BJP Leader Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan Discusses Party’s Strategic Meeting on Membership and Inclusivity

BJP leader Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan has provided insights into the recent internal meeting held by the party, which focused on strengthening its foundation through enhanced membership enrollment and fostering inclusivity. Addressing the media, Dr. Narayan emphasized that the primary agenda was to expand the party’s reach across all sections of society, ensuring a more inclusive approach moving forward.

“The meeting was centered around how to strengthen the party, particularly through membership enrollment, and how to make the party more inclusive. We need to expand the party and ensure it reflects the diversity of our society. That was the main agenda,” Dr. Narayan stated.

The BJP leader also took the opportunity to critique the Congress party, suggesting that it is struggling with internal turmoil and allegations of corruption. “Congress is on the back foot, and they are steeped in corruption. There is a big infighting within the party, which is only weakening them further,” he said, alluding to the ongoing divisions and challenges within the opposition party.

Dr. Narayan’s remarks reflect the BJP’s ongoing efforts to consolidate and grow its support base, particularly in light of the shifting political dynamics in Karnataka. By focusing on broadening its appeal and attracting a more diverse membership, the BJP aims to present itself as a unifying force that can address the needs and concerns of all sections of society.

As the party prepares for upcoming elections and challenges from opposition parties, Dr. Narayan’s comments also signal a strategic push to present the BJP as a more inclusive and forward-thinking alternative, while continuing to capitalize on the perceived weaknesses of the Congress party. The BJP’s emphasis on inclusivity and membership expansion is expected to be a key aspect of its campaign strategy in the coming months.
