BJP MP Lahar Singh Siroya Accuses Rahul Kharge of Misusing Allotted Land

BJP MP Lahar Singh Siroya has raised allegations against Rahul Kharge, son of Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, concerning the allotment and use of government land.

In a recent statement, Siroya claimed that Rahul Kharge had misused his government connections to secure land allotted by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB). “He misused his government, these things are coming to light and this 5 acres of land which he had got allotted near the aerospace after that many people are contacting us and various things are coming to light,” Siroya stated.

The BJP MP further alleged that there was an additional issue involving 19 acres of what he described as “illegal land.” “This allotment of 19 acres of illegal land has come to light,” Siroya added, suggesting that there were irregularities in the allocation and use of the land.

The accusations center around land allocated to Rahul Kharge in proximity to aerospace developments, which Siroya argues was done improperly. The allegations have stirred political discourse, with the BJP calling for further scrutiny and investigation into the land dealings involving the Kharge family.

These claims have intensified the political debate over land management and the use of government resources, reflecting ongoing tensions between the BJP and Congress in Karnataka. The Congress party has yet to respond to the specific allegations made by Siroya.

The matter highlights the broader issues of transparency and accountability in the allocation of government land, as scrutiny continues over the propriety of such transactions and their impact on political figures.
