In a public rally held in Rajampet, Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi voiced his criticism of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) government.
Modi expressed his disappointment with the YSRCP government, accusing them of betraying the trust of the people of Andhra Pradesh. “The YSRCP government was elected with a lot of hope, but they have disappointed you,” he said. He further alleged that the YSRCP has been nurturing the mafia, neglecting the development of the poor.
The Prime Minister also targeted a YSRCP Minister, accusing him of running a ‘Gunga Raaj’. “It’s clear to everyone,” he said, without naming anyone in particular.
Modi issued a stern warning to the YSRCP and the mafias, stating, “The YSRCP government’s days are numbered.” He assured that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will take stringent action against these mafias.
The Prime Minister’s comments come at a time when the YSRCP government is facing backlash for various issues. The rally was part of the BJP’s campaign to strengthen its foothold in Andhra Pradesh.
The YSRCP has not yet issued a response to the Prime Minister’s comments. As the political climate in Andhra Pradesh heats up, it will be intriguing to see how the YSRCP counters these allegations.
