Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public rally in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, sharply criticized the INDI alliance parties, accusing them of consistently opposing the construction of the Ram Temple.
“INDI alliance parties have always demonstrated their opposition to the construction of the Ram Temple,” Modi declared. “They turned down the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ invite and insulted Ram Lalla. Their party members who dared to attend the ceremony were suspended for a period of six years.”
Modi also took aim at the Congress party, charging it with being deeply mired in appeasement politics. “Congress is so immersed in appeasement politics that they seem incapable of emerging from it,” he asserted. “Their manifesto appears to be a reflection of the Muslim League’s, rather than their own.”
The Prime Minister further lambasted the Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) for their opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). “If India doesn’t extend citizenship to the persecuted minorities from neighbouring countries, then who will?” he posed.
The rally was conducted amidst the fervent political campaigning in Uttar Pradesh, with all parties striving to win over voters. The Prime Minister’s remarks are set to stoke the already fiery political discourse in the state.
