PM Modi’s Meerut Rally Sets the Stage for Lok Sabha Election 2024

Meerut, Uttar Pradesh – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again chosen Meerut, a city of symbolic significance in his political journey, to launch the Bharatiya Janata Party’s campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. The rally, held on Sunday, marked the commencement of the world’s largest democratic exercise.

In his address, PM Modi advocated for a ‘Viksit Bharat’, echoing the aspirations of the people of India. The rally was attended by several notable figures, including BJP candidate Arun Govil, known for his role in the TV serial ‘Ramayan’, and Rashtriya Lok Dal president Jayant Chaudhary, a recent addition to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.

The General Elections are scheduled to be held in seven phases between April 19 and June 1. In the run-up to the elections, various political parties have begun their campaigns to woo the voters. Several candidates have filed their nominations, marking the start of an intense period of campaigning.
